Jo-Anne is a great teacher...
I had always wanted to learn how to do cake decorating and fondant work. I saw Jo-Anne’s post of one of her classes on Facebook and I booked a class straight away. I was hooked, and thoroughly enjoy my classes. Jo-Anne is a great teacher, has a lot of patience and doesn’t rush you. The bonus of having her shop with all the supplies on site is great, there is a good range of everything you need for cake decorating. I thoroughly recommend classes at Fondant Shed.

Jo-Anne did an amazing job of our son’s 21st birthday cake. She designed a cake to match our American Graffiti theme and everyone thought it was fabulous. Not only did it look great but tasted delicious too. The chocolate and raspberry combination was superb! I would definitely recommend Jo-Anne for any cake and will definitely use her for any occasion in the future. Five Stars!!

I first contacted Jo-Anne as I had been wanting to learn about working with fondant for quite some time. I was a complete novice and didn’t really know too much, after my first class I was hooked! I have since completed more classes where Jo-Anne has taught me how to make sugar flowers, piping techniques for buttercream flowers. This has given me the confidence to attempt this on my own with really pleasing results. The classes are always really relaxed and Jo-Anne is a really patient and enthusiastic teacher. I look forward to doing my next course. I would thoroughly recommend classes at Fondant Shed.

Awesome set up, relaxing atmosphere. Small classes, lots of individual attention and teaching. We loved every minute of it. Will definitely be back. It remains one of the most rewarding activities that we have done. It is such a moral booster. Relaxing, exciting, inspiring with the most amazing results.

The Fondant Shed is amazing!! Jo-Anne is the creative talent behind the yummy and stunning cakes I have been lucky to experience. I asked Jo-Anne to help with our wedding cake, and my son’s 21st cake. Jo-Anne is always helpful and willing to discuss and deliver what has been exceptional cakes. Always going the extra mile and always finishing on time. Nothings ever a problem to work with you to achieve a beautiful presentation & delicious tasting cakes. The cake you made for my parents 65th wedding anniversary was so fantastic and the lovely little cupcakes piped with the Buttercream Rose’s a flower of their generation one for each grandchild and great grandchild. the heart shaped cake with the blue lace and ribbon looked lovely I’d recommend Jo-Anne to make any cake you wanted I’ll be back.

I have always liked making and decorating cakes. I really wanted to learn how to make the beautiful roses that I had seen on those amazing cake programmes.
Then I stumbled across Fondant Shed on Facebook. I rang the number and this bubbly lovely sounding lady answered the phone. That was my introduction to Jo-Anne @ Fondant Shed. I booked a Rose class. Along I went and meet Jo-Anne and my fellow student Necie.
I had a blast. Jo-Anne supplied the materials. All I had to do was roll on up. I love Jo-Anne’s teaching style, she is so encouraging and positive. The atmosphere was awesome, Jo-Anne made me feel at ease and confident, and was gentle with her guidance when I would rush or do something wrong, never making me feel like I was not good enough or couldn’t do it. I have to say I was blown away and overwhelmed with the result.
Since starting classes with Jo-Anne I have made some cakes for family birthdays and have some amazing results which I definitely chalk up to Jo-Anne and her guidance. I started with the rose, then the Peony, orchid, gerbera and some buttercream roses. I love the time I spend with Jo-Anne. So that was the beginning of my sugar paste journey at Fondant Shed. However the story is not over, I have already booked another class which I know will not be the last 😍

Jo-Anne goes above and beyond when I’ve ordered Xmas cakes. The xmas cakes are beautiful, which I have to hide from my family as they would devour before xmas, as in other years. They are delicious and I totally recommend them.

Jo-Anne made our wedding cake for our big day back in March. We could not have asked for a better cake. I have never seen anything like it! In the lead up to the wedding, Jo-Anne was clear and thorough with communication and put us at ease. On the day everyone was so excited to see the cake and the hype definitely lived up too, the most delicious and beautiful cake ever.
